I wouldn't worry about shaving if the end of civilization had come. I can suggest stocking up on shop towels as TP. They keep longer and can be washed and reused.

If you're concerned about being shot on a bike, a horse provides as little protection and takes 3 times the feed you do to survive. You can also hide a bike without worrying if it'll run away or die. Besides, a good suit of chainmail will protect against small bullets.

This list is actually a Y2K list.. like things you need till they get the power back on and everything sorted. Or maybe an event like a hurricane...even shorter term.
If you are looking at long term.. the power and water is NEVER coming on.. then the list is a little different and LONGER.

However there is a transition period when it would be nice to have stored supplies ..till you can learn to become completely self sufficient. Think 1800s.. but with the advantage that you have stainless steel, aluminum, plastics, and maybe small scale electronic devices that you can charge on solar.
For example there would be nothing to stop you having a thermo siphon hot water panel going into an old hot water cylinder. ( ie panel below the storage). This would have been unheard of in 1800s.

Max,
You might want to re think the chain male statement. A bulletproof vest is no where near a male vest and it too has problems stopping some bullets. Chain male is too heavy to be practical. And I don't think it is on the top 100 list.

Faith in a world without materialstic needs fades first, even before the event as can be seen with this senseless thread.

First thing that will disappear is corn. This is a problem right now of ranch owners. With corn supplies becoming progressively scarce, farm owners are turning more and more to an unexpected meal source for their livestock -- candy.
