Lately we have had a few new Christian members whose sole purpose seems to be to tell others that the only truth regarding 2012 can be found in the Bible.

While their intentions may be well-meaning, it distracts from the main purpose of this fourm - what will happen in 2012 and what practical things we can do about it. I'm sure every non-Christian here is aware that we can just convert and all our fears will go away - it's superfluous to have new members reminding us of this and creating unneccesary debate.

Too often of late a thread gets hijacked - a casual reference to religious beliefs becomes a debate, unrelated to the original topic. Or sometimes a member chimes in with "your theory is wrong, because the Bible says nobody except for God knows the day..."

The Religion section is the only place for such debates:

Hijacked threads will be split to there, and the person making the post warned.

Those not interested in these age-old, hard-to-resolve debates, can avoid this part of the forum like a biblical plague
