Apologies to the handful of members who have images in their signatures, but the mods and I have decided that they are too much of a distraction from the discussions.

Also, although there aren't many right now, in the long term they could be manyfold, and the task of determining which are appropriate and which are not would be enormously difficult.

I'm switching off the ability to include them today - hope y'all understand.

Tell me about it - AG has/had a beautiful sig image.

Avatars are easy - either they are one thing that is/isn't offensive, or they are so low resolution that nobody cares.

But sig images could be anything, literally, and I don't want to make a decision when a longterm member uses an image of an ancient Mayan being decapitated, or the Grim Reaper, etc etc

Or a pic of their cat stalking a goldfish

Or their 1 year old smiling cutely

Or their collection of Bon Jovi memorabilia...

I'm human. I'll adapt to the changes.
