So 1f a thread goes way off topic or personal conflicts develope
a mod must be asked to act ?

That's right.....if you are taking part in a discussion and you see someone do this and it is really bothering you, then let a mod know. But keep in mind that what others deem unfit the mod might not see it that way.
We can't be reading every written word at all times....it's impossible.
So if the sin that is committed is really unacceptable and bothering you please let one of us know.
