What's this dark thing on SOHO Lasco 3?

I don't know how to post the video so it shows up here in the forum. It's a youtube vid of SOHO LASCO 3 for the 24th and today.

So, what is that dark thing? Hopefully someone has some astronomical knowledge and can identify it.

Ummm....it is a FAQ section on the SOHO site where you can email a question for an official response.

Looks like a shadow - until it vanished, which doesn't fit...

Could it be the shadow of Venus? As I recall, however, it was in different locations relative to Venus over the course of a few days.

On a thread in another forum people said they could see stars passing in front of it and behind it.

Maybe a dust cloud in space, a nebula? I assume that as we circle the sun, what we see "near" the sun (which could actually be very far away) will change. So maybe that is why this thing vanished?

I really don't see how it could be an object near the sun, because surely it would be reflecting sunlight if it were an object?

But it is rather circular. Maybe it is a shadow.

There is a large planet (venus? or Jupiter?))

directly behind it and then up angle a bit appears to be a 'black star'

if you watch closely, the large planet and the black star/planet are working together and sending
some form of energy into the Sun... which appears beneficial... though, hard to tell. (or they are not working together - on closer inspection...)

Either way - I'm grateful to them both... or just the one, for now...

This is a long video with a lot of reading, but it makes me wonder 2 things:

Is there really such a thing as a dark carbon star?

Is what they show from the NASA Stereo satellite really evidence that the sun is expanding? If so, that would help explain why it feels so hot lately.
