I guess that it must hurt you then!?

But I still do wonder why foolish "trolls" like WC who think that this forum is a waste of energy still continue to hang around!?

Impressive.

I wonder if this has anything to add:

Sorry World Change, I was referring to Rob's original post when I posed the question "what does this have to do with quantum physics".
I did not watch your 3 hr video, and Im sure it's good, and probably related to quantum physics. Sorry about the confusion there.

That's an interesting idea/solution, in Nick Bostrom's simulation argument he gives an example where if you turn your back to an object, if your world is a computer simulation, then it's more efficient for it to only exist when you look at it. That would save heaps of computing power. How much power needed would depend on the number of conscious beings in the simulation I think, and some of them might not even be actual conscious beings as Bostrom says.

Is this the first evidence for a simulation other than the reasoning that if you can build a powerful computer you're likely to be in a simulation?

But why don't the simulators just make it so these quantum anomalies don't exist, if they hint towards the simulation? Maybe they want us to eventually find out, and maybe they left some clues...

And at that point, wouldn't the difference between a simulation and a real creation by Consciousness simply vanish?

Consciousness is a time/space reference so it does not actually create. Intelligence creates (designs)! So without "intelligence" there is just repetition!!!

Thats the point , we weren't supposed to be intelligent...just consciously superior.

The visitors are supposed to be the intelligent ones.....they don't like that we are a hundred years or so from being on an equal ground intelligence wise.

I think the mechanics of how quantum physics actually work is fascinating and literally mind boggling sometimes, but I've come to think it's really more about the experience we have as people than the science that supports those experiences. I think our thoughts are an energy/vibration that goes out from us and literally affects the world around us - that's why quantum physics has proven that the observer's viewpoint in observing something can produce a different outcome than another observer who has a different viewpoint. The "why" of how this happens, while fascinating, I think sidesteps the more significant issue of taking control of our thoughts and thereby dictating the results we want/choose to see in the physical world. In other words, I think if we can learn to control our thoughts we can change the world.

What do others think?
